Project Introduction

Our group is exploring music’s effects on emotions, and how it can be measured through physiological signals like EEG and heart rate. We plan on determining whether computer-generated music or commercial (already existent) music is more effective at invoking certain changes in physiological signals. To do so, we plan to make participants listen to the computer-generated music from our Intramusi website (https://www.interamusi.hipertone.net), and music that is commercially available. The results from each type of music will be compared, and we will see which type of music arouses stronger physiological signals.
